“ Fantastic brewery with very vibe and tasty IPAs. Two sections for seating so check both sides! ”
“ This spot perfectly blends great food, local beer, and a laid back atmosphere. Their in-house beer selection is top-notch, offering something for every craft beer lover. The tequila cilantro wings are a standout with bold flavors, while the beer-battered fries (with a side of ranch) are simply addictive. The space is versatile, providing great options for group gatherings whether you're hosting a casual hangout or a larger celebration. The location is industrial, so don't be alarmed when directions bring you towards the train tracks. And the parking can fill up quick, but there is plenty of space to park alongside the dirt path. Overall, great place to enjoy food and drinks with good company. ”
“ Large modern brewery with big seating area, TV's and lively atmosphere. Great food options for apps and entrees and of course, the beer options were crafted to make this a great local hub! ”
“ First time here. Cool spot near the train tracks and industrial area of Tucson. The brewery is in this old large turn of the century warehouse that serves a wide selection of brewskies and some good food. Our hostess and waitress were able to accommodate our puppy so we sat outside and enjoyed the warm Arizona winter holiday weather. Good place to come to see football or practically any sporting event. They have large tvs inside. They serve a wide variety of southwestern and bar food that def hits the spot with a great beer. I ordered the IPA but also tasted the blonde. Both great! I ordered the wings which had a kick ass good on the side dipping sauces. The habanero is fire. Literally! And their BBQ sauce is bomb -- def try them. Also the Tequila Cilantro sauce is well liked by a lot of the locals so worth a try. Good place for brews on a hot day. Def will be back! ;-) ”
“ We spent the night with friends in Tucson and wanted a few drinks and dinner before a hockey game. This place was pretty amazing. The beer selection was on point, the waitress was on top of things and the restaurant although pretty busy was far from crowded! I loved the "chalkboard" beer menu and how the bar area was conveniently spread out for comfort! The lighting was perfect, not too dark and not bright at all. I will surely be back to this place on the next visit to Tucson! ”
“ We loved this place! The food is good, the views are great and the beer is also great. We stopped here for a beer and pre-dinner snack and it was amazing. The view from the patio was awesome. Highly recommend. ”
“ This place is quite unique and a lot of fun. The beer was cold and the food was delicious. However this review comes with two small warnings: 1. It's quite noisy as they have concrete floors and the open "private" rooms seem to fill with loud/rowdy folks. 2. Beware of train - we came from DT Tucson and once the train stopped on the tracks, we waited 90 minutes to find an Uber driver that knew how to get to the "other side of the tracks". ”
“ "Barrio" was the original Brewery of Tucson and changed the licensing to also have their second location at "Gentle Ben's" on University blvd where they also serve Barrio Beer. Barrio Blonde Ale and Rojo Red Ale are seen all over the state. The Nolan Porter has notes of: Humidor cigar smoke, licorice, dark chocolate milkshake and winter coats stuffed with tootsie roll candies in its pockets. The Santa Rita Jefeweizen has notes of: Banana cream pie and malty whispers with lemon budding into the conversation. I like to mix their Jefe with a Porter. Surprisingly their Sonoran Hot Dog for me is one of the best in Tucson! They sear the bread really well and the chipotle mayo pops! Located on the south eastern industrial side of Tucson with a clear view of the Santa Catalina mountains to the north, amazing patio views. Thanks to server "Mimi" for historical facts and being kind. "Barrio brewery" was stablished in 1991 touting itself as Arizonas first brewery while there was also "Electric Dave's Brewery" that started in a garage in 1988 but may not qualify the same way. "Arizona Brewing Company" opened as well back in 1933 but again may quality differently then todays "Barrios" standards. We all love you Barrio. ”
“ Continuing with more breweries that were deemed lost at one point due to a destroyed phone but thankfully have been recovered and now posted due to locating notes on brewery experiences. Good thing I found Barrio Brewing in my notes! Steve and I had a good beer experience with their Red Cat Amber Ale. This was a two row malt , 40 Lovebond and 80 Lovebond malts with just a little bit of chocolate malt to add complexity to the beer. The beer had Pacific Northwest Hops in it for moderate hoppiness. Flavor highlights to look for with this beer are malty, sweet and bitter. The beer is nice and smooth and light bodied which is exactly what we often desire with our beer drinking experiences. ”
